Extrude is a material and aesthetic experimentation project that began with the desire to experiment with the duality of natural and digital forms and how computer software could hack forms taken from the natural world.
The creative process began with the digitization of the cross section of a pepper and by means of commands from 3D modeling software, the shape was modified until three different objects were obtained.
Finally, an editorial was designed that explains the entire hacking process of the organic form, from the stamping of the pepper, to the residues that generated the printing of the three objects with PLA.
